Strategy Event 2007

This event took place on 21st September 2007 at the Discovery Centre, Braintree.

Introduction & Objectives

• Following last year’s successful Future Direction event, the directors wanted to give ReMaDe Essex' (RE) stakeholders an update of progress and an opportunity to have further input to RE strategy and work programme.
• Presentations were given by WRAP and BREW Centre for Local Authorities which we hope outlined some of the opportunities available to the county over the next three years.
• RE presented on its current work and outlined the areas for future possible work programme development.
• Sauce consultancy facilitated a discussion on how the RE future programme could be developed in partnership with Essex organisations that have a remit for diversion of waste from landfill and other related activity.
